Are Co-Anon meetings free and anonymous?
Yes. Co-Anon meetings are free to attend — no dues, fees, referral, or insurance needed — and anonymity is a core principle, so you can come as you are. Anyone who wants help is welcome.
Can I attend Co-Anon meetings online?
Many Co-Anon groups meet online as well as in person. The official Co-Anon finder lists current online meetings.
Is Co-Anon for families affected by cocaine addiction?
Yes — and more broadly for people affected by a loved one's cocaine or other substance use, whether or not that person is in recovery.
What's the difference between Cocaine Anonymous and Co-Anon?
CA is for a person's own recovery; Co-Anon is for their family and friends. The names are similar, so it's worth checking which one matches your situation.
Do I have to be religious to join Co-Anon?
No. Co-Anon welcomes people of any religion or none. The program is usually described as spiritual rather than religious, and many areas offer secular, agnostic, or non-religious meetings.
