Common questions about SCA
Are SCA meetings free and anonymous?
Yes. SCA meetings are free to attend — no dues, fees, referral, or insurance needed — and anonymity is a core principle, so you can come as you are. Anyone who wants help is welcome.
Can I attend SCA meetings online?
Many SCA groups meet online as well as in person. The official SCA finder lists current online meetings.
How is SCA different from SAA or SA?
All three are separate 12-step fellowships for sexual-behavior recovery, with different literature and approaches to sobriety. The best fit is usually the one whose meetings and language you identify with.
Do I have to be religious to join SCA?
No. SCA welcomes people of any religion or none. The program is usually described as spiritual rather than religious, and many areas offer secular, agnostic, or non-religious meetings.
Fellow is a free, independent meeting finder — not affiliated with Sexual Compulsives Anonymous or any fellowship. Meeting listings come from public intergroup feeds. About & sources
